An engagement is a manual security assessment that you have opted for from your external security vendor. With engagement, you can schedule and instruct your security vendor on when to initiate the asset, define the scope and provide any additional information that may be required for your security vendor to kick start the assessment.
You are provided with necessary engagement states for you to manage the assessment lifecycle. They are:
- 🆕 Assessment Scheduled
- ⌛ Assessment In-progress
- ✅ Assessment Completed
- ⌛ Retest In-progress
- 🔄 Retest Requested
- ✅ Retest Completed
