This article explains how to configure Bitbucket credentials within the Strobes platform. There are two parts to successfully configure Bitbucket credentials, one is from within Strobes and the other is creating an OAuth consumer from within Bitbucket.
- Navigate to 'Settings' and click on 'Credential Manager'.
- Click on 'Add Credential'.
- Now select your connector as 'Bitbucket'.
- A 'Redirect URL' will be generated for you as shown below.
- Now login into Bitbucket and select the workspace which you want Strobes to access.
- Under that click on 'Settings' and then click on 'OAuth consumers'.
- Click on 'Add Consumer', enter a name for the consumer and in the 'CallBack URL' field enter the 'Redirect URL' which was generated by Strobes as mentioned in step 4.
- Under 'Permissions' select 'Read' access for 'Projects' and click on 'Save'.
- A 'Key' and a 'Secret' will be generated for you.
- Now head back to Strobes, enter a 'Name' for your configuration and enter your 'Key' and 'Secret' (which was generated for you on Bitbucket) in the 'Client ID' and 'Client Secret' fields.
- Click on 'Save' and you will be prompted to login into Bitbucket.
- Login into your Bitbucket account and you will be asked to confirm access to your account. Click on 'Grant access' and your Bitbucket credentials will get saved.
