Bulk Updating Vulnerability Custom Fields Using CSV

If you need to update multiple vulnerability custom fields at once, you can do so by uploading a CSV file. This is done using the Upload CSV option under Edit Fields on the Vulnerabilities page. The following steps guide you through the process of bulk updating custom fields via CSV.

Steps to Bulk Update Custom Fields

1. Navigate to the "Vulnerabilities" page.

2. Select at least one vulnerability and click on "Edit Fields." This will open the edit options for the selected vulnerability/vulnerabilities.

3. Choose the "Upload CSV" option.

4. Download the sample CSV file. The downloaded file will include your defined custom fields as column headers (along with an id column for vulnerability IDs).

5. Open the CSV and fill in the details: For each vulnerability you want to update, enter its ID under the id column and the new values for each custom field under the respective columns.

6. Upload the filled CSV and map the fields. After adding your data, upload the CSV file in the Upload CSV dialog. Map each CSV column to the corresponding custom field in Strobes.

Note: The id column is included by default in the sample CSV. Do not map this id column to any custom field – it’s used only to identify the vulnerabilities.

7. Click "Save" to apply the changes. Once you click Save, the platform will update the custom field values for the specified vulnerability IDs.
