How to use credential manager?

The Credential Manager in Strobes allows you to securely store and manage credentials for third-party security and IT tools. This ensures safe reuse of credentials across different workflow configurations—whether you’re setting up integrations for vulnerability scanners, ticketing systems, or communication tools.

Instead of manually entering credentials every time, Credential Manager centralizes access and simplifies configuration.

When to Use Credential Manager

You’ll need to use Credential Manager when:

  • Integrating with tools that require authentication via OAuth or API keys.
  • Setting up workflows that involve external tools like scanners, issue trackers, or notification services.
  • You want to reuse credentials securely across multiple configurations in Strobes.
