Configuring HCL AppScan Credentials Using Credential Manager

This article explains how to configure AppScan credentials within the Strobes platform. By adding your AppScan credentials via Credential Manager, you can integrate and sync data like assets and vulnerabilities directly from AppScan into Strobes.

Follow the steps below to complete the configuration:

Step 1: Go to Credential Manager

1. Log in to your Strobes instance.
2. Navigate to Settings from the left-hand menu.
3. Click on Credential Manager.
   

Step 2: Add a New Credential

1. Click the Add Credential button.
2. Select AppScan from the connector dropdown list.
   

Step 3: Enter Credential Details

1. Provide a Name for your configuration (e.g., "AppScan Production").
2. Enter your AppScan Key ID and Key Secret.

Step 4: Save the Configuration

• Click Save.
• Your AppScan credentials are now securely stored and ready to use with Strobes integrations.
